Dust. Super Bloom. Food. Laughs. Memories for a lifetime. I love my birth family. I think it's really cool that we have the relationships we have. From deep conversations about life to jokes about anything and everything, this weekend was a great reminder to me of how lucky and loved we are.
I'm not sure how Death Valley became a National Park. After living in a desert (AZ), I think next camping trip will be to somewhere like the Grand Canyon. Or anywhere else in Arizona or Utah. This was the year of the super bloom. Which apparently is a big deal. Death Valley never has flowers because it's hot and...dead. This year the seeds scattered in winter actually sprouted. Here is the proof.
Sand Dunes and Frisbee throwing!
The tiniest portion of our family
A waterfall in Death Valley!? Who knew!
Zabriskie Point
Painter's Palette...maybe I went at the wrong time of day. I wasn't impressed.
The weather in AZ was horrifying....
And Zeus slept the whole way home...
