Yes, I still enjoy writing. No, I haven't posted in a while, because life. Life is happening right now. It's been happening and I found myself missing it. My job is overly rewarding (seriously, I have the best job ever). But I spread myself way too thin. I exhausted myself. I couldn't do it all.
So now, I'm starting to say, "no" more like my girl, Meghan Trainor. And it is no longer accompanied by the fear of disappointing someone else and guilt. I'm a serious work in progress. But I am so over being consumed by my flaws and life's lows. I forgot who I was for a while. Spiritually and emotionally. And it totally sucked. So now my goal is to focus on the following:
Done looking back (that's why I kissed facebook goodbye), done focusing on the half empty and less than ideal, done excusing and justifying. Just moving onward. It's always better to look forward.
Exciting things are happening, and I'm ready to be a part of something bigger than myself.
